Tiverton Artisans Produce Tile to Benefit Land Trust
Pottery artisans, Roseberry-Winn of Tiverton 4-Corners, recently introduced a beautiful new commemorative tile with an oak and holly motif. 10% of the proceeds of this tile will be donated to the Tiverton Land Trust (TLT). Bruce Winn and Michael Roseberry chose the oak and holly theme because the last remaining Oak and Holly Forest in the East Bay is located on land that is adjacent to the 1840’s Greek revival building that houses their gallery store. Bruce and Michael are very thankful for that and thought that working with the Land Trust was the perfect way to celebrate and emphasize the importance of preserving land for current and future generations. The tile depicts an image carved in low relief of overlapped sprigs of oak and holly with a border of holly leaves and acorns around the perimeter. Made out of high fire porcelain it is finished with a glaze that is formulated to accentuate the surface. Packaged in its own gift box it retails for $35.00 and can be obtained in any of Roseberry-Winn’s 15 glaze colors. It can be purchased directly from the store at 3842 Main Road in Tiverton, which is currently open Thursday- Saturday 10-5 and Sunday 12-5, or ordered by calling 401-816-0010 seven days a week. Though the tile is not yet shown on their website, www.roseberrywinn.com, similar work can be seen and ordered there.
